How to reserve a room
If you are planning on holding an event or meeting in an ASU room you need to make sure you understand the University guidelines. If you are comfortable with the requirements then you can proceed to schedule a room(s) as outlined below.
Conference Room CSB203
The room belongs to ASURA. To schedule it call the Office (480-965-7668) and ask the Office volunteer to schedule the room. If there is a conflict you will be asked for an alternative date / time.
Other ASU Classrooms
- Contact either Linda Van Scoy, Nancy Lesko or Jeannette Robson. If you call the Office and none of these three are present, give the Office volunteer your name, email address and phone number and one of the three will get in touch with you.
- The guidelines for in-person events state that room requests must be made 30 days in advance.
- There is a $50 charge per meeting for serving food or drink in these rooms.CSB330 - seminar room
- CSB 330 is an ASU classroom, partitionable into two rooms. It is equipped with a computer with projector and projection screen. It also has an audio system that can be used with ASURA's microphones.
- If you use a room without having scheduled it first, please leave quickly and politely if asked to do so by people arriving for a scheduled meeting or class.
In Memorial Union
Memorial Union has many rooms which can be scheduled and you can schedule more than one room for the same time. If you want a room in the Union visit the Union's pages on holding meetings for the process.
While it is possible to do the scheduling directly, it is better to let the ASURA office coordinator do this for you.
Notes
- There is a room charge and you need to make sure you are charged as an ASU entity
- Scheduling the rooms may require requesting as much as a year in advance, depending on the time of year and room requested.
