Steps
- In Wild Apricot, make sure that you are logged in and in Admin view. The button on the top right toggles between Admin view and Public view. It should say "Public view" if you are in Admin view.
- Click on the Contacts menu on the left, then use the menu at the top or the tabs above the list of contacts if you want to create an Advanced search or to use a Saved search.;
- Select the records you want to include in the file. This may be through use of a Saved Search, such as Prime Times or ASU United Way, or it may be through specifying critera in and Advanced Search. Run the search, and review results to make sure they are as expected.
- Click on the Export button near the top of the page. Select the fields to include in the Excel file. Typically, this will be the first and last names and the address fields. Scroll to the bottom of the list of fields and click on the Export button.
- The Excel file that contains the information you selected will be saved to your computer, in the folder you use for downloads from your browser. It will have a name with a date and "Contacts ASU Retirees Association.xml". Open this file in Excel, review it, and save it as an Excel workbook (*.xlsx) file.
